Fields marked with * are required. Once you’ve completed the form, use the payment link at the end to enter the amount you wish to pay: either the full amount or a 50% deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance will be due on the day of your tour.

If you’re paying in a currency other than GBP, please note that currency conversion rates may apply. For additional information about cancellations, payments, and other policies, please refer to our Booking FAQ or Terms and Conditions.

Once your payment is processed, we’ll email you with your tour details, including pickup information.

1. How do I book a tour with Trod Sankofa?
You can book your tour directly through our website, via third-party agents, or directly with our local guide. Booking through our website ensures the best rates and guarantees that our full terms and conditions are followed. We also run promotions on social media and offer tours through platforms such as TripAdvisor and Viator.

 

2. What’s the best way to get the best rates?
The best rates are always available directly on our website. While discounts and promotions may occasionally be offered via social media or third-party platforms like TripAdvisor and Viator, booking directly through our website guarantees you the most competitive pricing and ensures that you receive the full benefits of our terms and conditions.

 

3. What’s the deposit policy?
A deposit is optional to confirm your booking. However, should you choose to pay a deposit, a 50% payment is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your spot and allows us to make the necessary arrangements with our local partners. The remaining balance is due on the day of the tour. You also have the option to pay in full if preferred. This deposit policy currently applies only to day tours.

 

4. Can I change the number of people in my group after booking?
Yes, you can change the number of people in your group. Please notify us as soon as possible if there are any changes. While we will do our best to accommodate these adjustments, changes made within 48 hours of departure may be subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

 

5. What’s the refund policy?


Our refund policy is as follows:

  • More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund
  • 24 to 48 hours before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before departure or no-show: No refund

Please note that TripAdvisor and Viator have their own refund policies. Refunds will be processed within 5 working days for eligible cancellations.

 

6. Can I book a tour last minute?
Yes, we accept last-minute bookings (within 24 to 48 hours of departure). However, availability is not guaranteed. Last-minute bookings are non-refundable due to the booking cutoff period. Please contact us via support@trodsankofa.com or book directly on our website to inquire about availability.

 

7. Can I reschedule my tour?
Yes, you can reschedule your tour! To reschedule, please email us at least 5 days in advance at support@trodsankofa.com. Requests made within 48 hours of departure may incur an administration fee.

 

8. Are the tours refundable if I cancel?
Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund
  • 24 to 48 hours before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before departure or no-show: No refund

Refunds will be processed within 5 working days for eligible cancellations.

 

9. Is there a way to get further discounts on tours?
Yes, our local guides may offer additional discounts for direct bookings. These discounts are subject to availability and may not include entrance fees or other inclusions listed on our website. While these discounts are available, booking directly through our website remains the safest and most efficient method to ensure full adherence to our terms and conditions, as well as our refund policy.

 

10. Can I make special requests to customise my tour?
Yes, we can accommodate special requests where possible. You also have the option to fully customise your tour. Please inform us of any special requests at the time of booking, and we will do our utmost to fulfil them. Custom tours are bespoke and typically require a higher budget.

 

11. What happens if Trod Sankofa cancels a tour?
In the rare event that we need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will promptly notify you and offer an alternative tour or a full refund. We strive to provide the best possible experience and will work to ensure your plans are not disrupted.

 

 

12. Can I book a tour for a specific date and time?
While our tours are typically scheduled for specific days of the week, we are happy to accommodate custom dates and times for our standard tours, subject to availability. If you prefer a specific date outside of our usual schedule, you can either leave a note on the booking form or contact us directly at support@trodsankofa.com, and we will do our best to arrange an alternative that suits your needs.
